Homes fitted with a smoke detector will often discover fires more rapidly than those without.

If smoke is sensed the detector will emit an audible alarm and raise a call to the monitoring centre, who will call the emergency services.

Because the response is automatic and immediate, the risks to your life and property are greatly reduced.
